Description
The Asimetric is a white geometric wall light shaped as an asymmetric rhombus, 197mm wide by 215mm high, with a GX53 bulb fitting recessed into the metal body. Light projects from two open triangular corners at opposite ends of the rhombus, washing the wall surface in directional upward and downward beams rather than illuminating outward into the room.
Designed for hallways, living rooms and bedrooms where wall-grazing accent light is needed without glare, the fitting can be rotated during installation to alter the angle of the light wash. The 78mm projection keeps the body close to the wall, allowing it to be mounted in circulation spaces without protruding into the path. The GX53 socket accepts flat disc-style LED bulbs (sold separately), which sit flush within the metal housing and remain hidden from view.
The white powder-coated metal finish provides a matte surface that reads as clean and architectural rather than glossy. The geometric form creates distinct shadow lines on the wall when lit, turning the fitting into both a light source and a sculptural wall accent. The 0.7kg weight mounts directly to a standard back box on solid walls or plasterboard with appropriate fixings.
The fitting is dimmable when paired with a dimmable GX53 LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Most users pair the Asimetric with a warm-white 3000K GX53 LED between 7-11W for ambient wall washing in residential settings, though cooler temperatures suit gallery or commercial installations.

Frequently Asked
What bulb does it take?
The fitting takes a GX53 flat disc LED bulb, sold separately. GX53 bulbs are low-profile LEDs typically used in cabinet and wall lighting. Most retailers stock 7W, 9W and 11W versions in warm-white (3000K) or cool-white (4000K).
Does the light project outward or wash the wall?
The Asimetric washes the wall surface. Light projects from two open triangular corners, creating upward and downward beams that graze the wall rather than illuminating outward into the room. It functions as accent and architectural lighting, not as task or ambient room lighting.
Can it be installed at different angles?
Yes. The rhombus shape can be rotated during installation to change the direction of the light wash. Mounting it with the open corners at top-left and bottom-right versus top-right and bottom-left alters the shadow pattern and beam direction on the wall.
Is it suitable for hallways with limited projection space?
Yes. The 78mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrow hallways and circulation spaces where a protruding wall light would obstruct the path.
