Asimetric Curved Wall Light - White

The Asimetric is a curved wall light in matt white, built around a single GX53 bulb fitting (bulb sold separately). The asymmetric form curves organically from a 173mm-wide base to 200mm tall, projecting 95mm from the wall. The smooth matt finish diffuses light softly across the face of the fitting while reflecting some upward and downward onto adjacent wall surfaces.

Designed for hallways, bedrooms, and living rooms where a compact wall-mounted fitting is needed without the visual weight of traditional wall lights, the Asimetric suits rooms with white or pale walls where the fitting can blend into the surface when not lit. The 200mm height and 173mm width sit comfortably alongside doorframes or between artwork without dominating the wall. The 95mm projection keeps the fitting clear of door swings and reduces shadow casting at head height in narrow hallways.

The GX53 socket accepts standard GX53 LED, halogen or compact fluorescent bulbs up to the rated wattage (see Specification tab). Pairing with a dimmable GX53 LED and a compatible wall dimmer allows the light level to be adjusted from bright functional illumination to low ambient background light. The matt white powder-coated finish hides fingerprints and marks better than gloss white, and the 0.7kg weight installs onto standard wall fixings without needing additional support.

What bulb does the Asimetric take?

The fitting takes a GX53 bulb (sold separately). GX53 is a low-profile bulb type with a bayonet twist-lock base, commonly available in LED form with outputs between 4W and 11W. Choose a warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient light or a cool white (4000K+) for task lighting.

Is it dimmable?

The fitting itself supports dimming when paired with a dimmable GX53 bulb and a compatible wall dimmer. Not all GX53 LED bulbs are dimmable, so check the bulb specification before purchasing if dimming is required.

What room size does it suit?

The compact 200mm height and single-bulb output make the Asimetric best suited to hallways, staircases, small bedrooms, and bathrooms rather than large open-plan living spaces. For larger rooms, consider using multiple Asimetric fittings spaced along the wall or pairing with ceiling lighting.

How is it fitted to the wall?

The fitting weighs 0.7kg and mounts to standard wall fixings (screws and wall plugs). The backplate conceals the fixing points once installed. Wiring connects behind the backplate to a standard UK mains supply.
