The Ashford chandelier is a generous ring of light for the centre of a room. It is a 20 light fitting built as a scalloped circle of tall clear cylinders, each patterned with a fine diamond and ribbed texture that catches the light, with a metal rim at the top and bottom of every cylinder. It is made from brass, steel and acrylic, and it measures 48.5cm tall and 80cm across, a size that holds its own above a large table or in a spacious room. We offer it in Bronze, Brushed Gold (powder coat) or Matt Black (RAL 9005), so you can choose the finish of the rims and frame to suit your scheme.

Its natural home is a dining room, hung centred over the table so every seat sits in its glow, or a living room that wants one strong central light rather than scattered lamps. It comes with 1m of cable and chain as standard. The Ashford is rated IP20, so it is for dry rooms only. Each finish sets a different mood: Bronze sits comfortably with deep colours and dark wood, Brushed Gold (powder coat) brings warmth to pale walls, and Matt Black gives a crisp, graphic outline in a more modern room.

Every Ashford chandelier is made to order for you, and it is made in Ireland. It is a mains fitting for a qualified electrician to install. The maker guarantees the fittings it makes for five years from the date of purchase; bulbs are not covered. Bulbs are sold separately: it takes 20 E27 bulbs, up to 40W per bulb. A practical tip before it goes up: buy all twenty bulbs at the same time and of the same kind, so the light falls evenly all round.
