The Kichler Asher is a 3-light cluster pendant that suspends three individual lamp assemblies from a 400mm diameter brushed nickel ceiling plate, each on an independently adjustable black fabric cord. Each light combines a clear glass outer shade with a perforated silver-finish metal mesh cylinder inside, creating a dual-layer construction where the mesh diffuses the E27 bulb and the glass protects it.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and larger entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Asher provides focused task light from three independently positioned bulbs rather than a single central source. Each cord can be set to a different drop length during installation, allowing the cluster to be staggered or aligned depending on the room geometry. The minimum drop of 336mm and maximum of 3,079mm accommodate both standard and tall ceiling installations.

The perforated mesh cylinders are finished in a brushed silver tone that reads warmer than chrome under tungsten light, and the clear glass outer shades remain transparent when unlit, showing the mesh structure inside. The combination of industrial-style perforated metal and clean glass allows the fitting to work in both modern and transitional interiors. Each light takes a standard E27 bulb up to 60W (sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or filament bulbs depending on desired light temperature and output.

Each of the three lights takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb up to 60W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this fitting with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for dining or ambient use.

Can the three lights be set to different drop lengths?

Yes. Each light hangs on an independently adjustable black fabric cord, so the drops can be staggered to different heights or aligned at the same level during installation. The maximum cord length for each is 2,896mm.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 336mm means the fitting can work in rooms with 2.4m ceilings when the lights are set high. For dining tables or kitchen islands, the lights typically hang 700-800mm above the surface, which requires ceiling heights of 2.5m or above for comfortable clearance.

Is the Asher dimmable?

Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulbs used. LED bulbs require a compatible LED dimmer, while halogen and traditional filament bulbs work with standard trailing-edge dimmers. The fitting itself does not restrict dimming.
