Description

The Ashby is a three light semi-flush ceiling light in aged brass, with glass shades set on a brass and metal frame that stays close to the ceiling rather than hanging down. It spans 560mm across with a 235mm projection, so it has real presence overhead without needing the drop of a pendant. Each of the three arms takes a G9 lamp, not included, and the brass, metal and glass combine to give it some weight and a classic feel.

The Ashby suits rooms where you want a fitting with some traditional character overhead, a hallway, dining room or living room with a standard to generous ceiling height. Three lamps spread an even level of light across the room, making it a comfortable choice for everyday use as well as quieter evenings. Its aged brass tone and glass shades sit particularly well in a period home, or a newer room where you want to bring in a little warmth and history.

The aged brass finish is deliberately soft and lightly weathered rather than bright, so it works easily with wood, cream and warmer colour schemes and won't look dated the way a high-shine finish can over time. Wipe it over with a soft, dry cloth, and keep abrasive or chemical cleaners away from the brass and glass.
