Description
The Arvello is an 800mm two-tier drum chandelier built from flat panels of natural Spanish alabaster set into a brass ring frame. Twelve G9 lamps sit behind the stone, lighting the panels from within so the alabaster itself becomes the diffuser. The drum measures 220mm tall and hangs on four slender suspension cables from a circular brass canopy in a Soft White and Brass finish.
At 800mm across, the Arvello is sized for larger rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or more: open-plan kitchen-diners over a substantial island or table, double-height entrance halls, formal dining rooms and lounge centrepieces. The suspension cables can be shortened on installation to set the drum at the correct height above a table, typically 750-850mm from tabletop to the lower edge of the chandelier. Twelve G9 capsules give bright, evenly distributed output across the full diameter.
The two-tier construction is the defining detail. An upper band of taller alabaster panels is offset against a lower band of shorter panels, with the joins staggered so each tier reads as a separate ring of stone. Brass pin fixings dot the top edge of each panel where they meet the frame, picking up warm metallic highlights against the pale stone. Because each panel is cut from solid alabaster, the veining, mineral density and translucency vary across the drum, and no two finished pieces look identical when lit.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Arvello take?
The chandelier takes twelve G9 capsule bulbs, sold separately. G9 LEDs in the 2.5-4W range at 2700K-3000K give the warmest match to the natural tone of the alabaster; cooler colour temperatures will read as harsher against the stone.
What ceiling height does it need?
The 800mm diameter and two-tier drum suit rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or more. Above a dining table, the lower edge of the drum typically sits 750-850mm from the tabletop. The suspension cables are shortened on installation to set the correct drop.
Does the alabaster vary between pieces?
Yes. Each panel is cut from natural Spanish alabaster, so veining, tonal variation and translucency differ between individual panels and between finished chandeliers. This is a feature of the natural material rather than a defect, and it is most visible when the lamps are lit.
How is the alabaster cleaned?
Alabaster is porous and softer than marble. Dust the panels with a dry, soft microfibre cloth. For more stubborn marks a barely-damp cloth with distilled water can be used, but avoid soaking the stone and do not use household sprays, polishes or chemical cleaners.
