Description

The Aruba is a 12cm diameter cylindrical pendant light finished in matt white metal with a single E27 bulb fitting at the base. The cylinder measures 120mm across and approximately 140mm tall, suspended on a white cable from a matching matt white ceiling canopy. Light exits through the open base of the cylinder, directing illumination downward over worktops, counters or hallway floors.

Designed for kitchens with 2.2-2.4m ceiling heights where standard pendants would hang too low, the Aruba's minimum 400mm drop allows it to sit 300-400mm above a worktop without obstructing sightlines. The maximum 1500mm drop extends it for use over kitchen islands or in entrance halls with taller ceilings. The compact 120mm diameter makes it suitable for single installation over a sink, or grouped in runs of three or five over an island bench without visual crowding.

The matt white powder-coated finish softens light reflection and integrates with both all-white minimalist interiors and as a neutral accent against darker wall colours. The E27 fitting accepts any standard screw bulb up to the fitting's rated wattage, giving flexibility to choose warm white (2700K-3000K) for residential kitchens or cooler daylight (4000K-5000K) for commercial or utility spaces. Dimmer compatibility depends on the bulb chosen — pair with a dimmable LED and compatible trailing-edge dimmer for full control.

Does the Aruba come with a bulb?

No. The pendant uses a standard E27 screw bulb which is sold separately. Most installations pair this with a 6-10W LED bulb in warm white (2700K-3000K) for kitchen task lighting.

Is it suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The minimum 400mm drop makes it one of the better options for 2.2-2.4m ceiling heights. When set at minimum drop the pendant sits approximately 300-400mm above a standard worktop height without obstructing head clearance or sightlines.

Can it be dimmed?

The fitting itself is dimmer-compatible, but the actual dimming behaviour depends on the bulb you install. Pair with a dimmable LED bulb and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer switch to achieve smooth dimming from 100% down to around 10%.

Can multiple Aruba pendants be installed in a row?

Yes. The compact 120mm diameter allows three to five pendants to be spaced evenly over a kitchen island or dining bar without visual crowding. Typical spacing is 600-800mm centre-to-centre depending on island length.
