Description

The Artisan is a single-phase track spotlight with a cylindrical white aluminium body, mounting onto standard single-phase track systems via a fixed adapter at the top. The spotlight accepts a GU10 bulb up to 12W (sold separately) recessed within the cylinder, and rotates 355° on its track mount while tilting 90° vertically to direct light across walls, artwork, shelving or task surfaces.

Designed for retail, gallery, kitchen and living room installations where adjustable accent lighting is needed without permanent ceiling fittings, the Artisan pairs with single-phase track rails that can be cut to length and positioned across ceilings or upper walls. The 140mm length and 54mm diameter keep the spotlight compact enough for runs of multiple units without visual crowding. The white powder-coat finish on the aluminium body suits neutral and light-toned interiors, while the black metal ring at the aperture defines the light exit and conceals the rear edge of the bulb.

The recessed lamp position sits approximately 30mm inside the cylinder, preventing direct glare when the spotlight is angled towards eye level and giving the fitting a cleaner profile than open-faced track heads. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only. The track adapter locks onto the rail with a twist-lock mechanism, allowing the spotlight to be repositioned along the track without rewiring.

What bulb does it take?

The spotlight accepts a standard GU10 bulb up to 12W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use a GU10 LED between 5-7W and 3000K for accent lighting, or 4000K for task lighting in kitchens and workspaces.

What track system does it fit?

The Artisan mounts onto single-phase track rails. It is not compatible with three-phase track systems. Check your existing track type before ordering — single-phase track has two contact points, three-phase has three.

Can it be repositioned once installed?

Yes. The track adapter uses a twist-lock mechanism that allows the spotlight to be moved along the track rail without disconnecting wiring. Power must be switched off before repositioning.

Can it be used in bathrooms or outdoors?

No. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas only. It is not suitable for bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any outdoor installation.
