Description

The Artisan is a single phase track spotlight with a textured black aluminium cylinder housing a GU10 fitting. The head rotates 355° on the track adapter and tilts 90° vertically, allowing light to be directed at artwork, retail displays, kitchen worktops or architectural features from a single-circuit track system.

Designed for commercial and residential track lighting installations, the Artisan fits standard single-phase track rails and draws power through a twist-lock adapter mounted at the top of the cylinder. The 54mm diameter beam aperture suits GU10 LED or halogen bulbs up to 12W (sold separately), with the choice of beam angle and colour temperature determined by the bulb fitted. The textured finish on the cylinder body diffuses reflections under retail or gallery lighting conditions.

The aluminium construction keeps the fitting weight low enough to sit securely on track without additional support brackets, while the IP20 rating confirms suitability for dry indoor environments only. A decorative ring at the beam aperture conceals the bulb edges and gives a cleaner finish when the spotlight is viewed from below. The textured black finish pairs with matt black, graphite and industrial-toned interiors without adding gloss or metallic accents.

What GU10 bulb should I use?

The fitting accepts any GU10 bulb up to 12W. Most users pair this with a 6-8W LED in either warm white (2700-3000K) for ambient accent lighting or cool white (4000K) for task lighting over work surfaces. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can the spotlight be angled after installation?

Yes. The head rotates 355° around the track adapter and tilts 90° vertically, allowing the beam to be redirected without removing the fitting from the track. Adjustments are made by hand with no tools required.
