Description

The Artisan is a 12W LED magnetic track spotlight with a diamond-textured aluminium cylinder body finished in matt black, designed to mount onto Maytoni's Exility magnetic track system. The integrated LED delivers 3000K warm white light through a recessed lens fitted with a HoneyComb-D38 anti-glare filter, reducing direct glare while directing focused task light.

The spotlight rotates 355° on its magnetic track mount and tilts 90° on its vertical axis, allowing the beam to be repositioned without tools to highlight artwork, retail displays, kitchen worktops or architectural features. The magnetic connection to the Exility track provides both power (DC 48V) and physical attachment, so the spotlight can be slid along the track or removed entirely for cleaning or reconfiguration without cutting power to the circuit.

The diamond texture on the cylinder body breaks up reflections under ambient light and gives the fitting a tactile surface finish that distinguishes it from smooth-bodied track spots. The aluminium construction keeps the weight low enough for the magnetic mount to hold securely without additional mechanical clips. The 52mm diameter cylinder projects approximately 125mm from the track when mounted, giving sufficient clearance to rotate without contacting the ceiling surface in most installations.

The Artisan carries an IP20 rating, making it suitable for dry indoor environments including living rooms, galleries, retail interiors, home offices and hospitality spaces. The 12W LED is non-replaceable but carries a 5-year warranty covering the integrated driver and light engine.

Does this work with standard ceiling track systems?

No. The Artisan requires Maytoni's Exility magnetic track system, which runs on DC 48V rather than mains voltage. It will not fit or function on conventional three-circuit or single-circuit mains track rails.

Can the spotlight be moved along the track once installed?

Yes. The magnetic mount allows the spotlight to be slid along the track or removed entirely without tools and without cutting power to the circuit. This makes repositioning and reconfiguration straightforward.

What does the anti-glare filter do?

The HoneyComb-D38 filter sits in front of the LED and creates a honeycomb optical pattern that reduces direct glare from the light source while maintaining beam focus. This makes the spotlight more comfortable to look at when positioned at eye level or in retail and gallery settings.

Is the LED replaceable?

No. The LED and driver are integrated into the spotlight body and are not user-replaceable. The entire light engine is covered by Maytoni's 5-year warranty.
