Artic 12cm Single Light Pendant - Polished Chrome Crystal

The Artic is a 12cm diameter pendant light with a faceted crystal glass shade designed to resemble fractured ice, suspended from a polished chrome canopy on an adjustable cable. A single G9 bulb sits inside the glass, and the faceted surfaces refract the light into scattered patterns across surrounding walls and ceilings when lit.

Designed for bedside pendants, kitchen island clusters, hallway sequences and dining table groupings, the Artic works as a single accent or in multiples of three or five. The 350mm minimum drop allows it to be fitted in rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings, while the 1500mm maximum drop suits double-height spaces or stairwells where the pendant can hang at eye level. The compact 12cm diameter means multiple Artic pendants can be spaced 30-40cm apart without visual crowding.

The crystal glass is moulded rather than hand-cut, giving consistent facet geometry across production runs while keeping the weight to 1.8kg per fitting. The polished chrome finish on the canopy and cable fitting pairs with both cool-toned and warm-toned interiors, reflecting ambient light during the day and receding visually when the pendant is lit at night. The G9 socket accepts LED, halogen or capsule bulbs up to the manufacturer's maximum wattage (see Specification table), and dimmer compatibility depends on bulb choice.

What bulb does the Artic take?

The pendant uses a single G9 capsule bulb (sold separately). Most users pair this with a G9 LED in the 3-5W range for a warm white 2700K-3000K output. Check the bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility if you plan to install on a dimmer switch.

Can multiple Artic pendants be grouped together?

Yes. The 12cm diameter allows multiple pendants to be hung in a cluster or linear sequence without crowding. Typical spacing is 30-40cm between centres for a kitchen island or dining table. Each pendant requires a separate ceiling rose or track fitting.

Is the drop adjustable after installation?

The cable length is set during installation between the 350mm minimum and 1500mm maximum. Adjusting the drop after installation requires accessing the ceiling canopy and re-feeding the cable, so it's best to finalise the drop height before fixing the canopy to the ceiling rose.

Does the faceted glass need special cleaning?

The moulded crystal glass can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and a small amount of glass cleaner. The facets may trap dust in the recesses, so a soft brush can help dislodge particles before wiping. Avoid abrasive cloths or scouring pads that could scratch the polished chrome or glass.
