Description

The Aron is a compact wall-mounted reading light with an adjustable cylindrical head, integrated 7W 2700K LED and touch-sensitive dimmer control. The white aluminium body measures 110mm long by 90mm wide with a 70mm projection from the wall, mounting on a rectangular backplate that conceals the cable entry and fixing points.

Designed for bedside installation in hotels, residential bedrooms and care homes, the Aron provides directed task light for reading without illuminating the entire room. The cylindrical head rotates on a pivot joint, allowing the beam to be angled towards a book, magazine or tablet screen. The touch dimmer sits on the front face below the head as a small circular button with a blue LED indicator ring — a single tap switches the light on or off, while pressing and holding cycles through dimmer levels from 10% to 100%.

The 7W LED produces approximately 500 lumens at 2700K, giving a warm white tone suited to evening reading and late-night use. The aluminium construction dissipates heat passively without requiring cooling vents, and the powder-coated white finish resists yellowing under UV exposure. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations away from moisture, so the Aron is not suitable for bathrooms or outdoor installation. The compact footprint allows two units to be mounted 600-800mm apart for symmetrical bedside lighting without visual clutter.

How is the dimmer controlled?

The touch-sensitive dimmer sits below the light head as a circular button with a blue LED indicator. Tap once to switch on or off. Press and hold to cycle through brightness levels from 10% to 100%. The dimmer does not require an external wall dimmer switch.

Can the light head be angled?

Yes. The cylindrical head rotates on a pivot joint, allowing the beam to be directed towards a reading position, desk surface or downwards onto a bedside table. The head locks into position by friction once adjusted.

Is it suitable for bathrooms?

No. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor locations. The Aron is not rated for bathroom zones or any area where moisture or water spray is present.

What colour temperature does the LED produce?

The integrated LED is fixed at 2700K, producing a warm white light suited to bedrooms and evening reading. The colour temperature cannot be adjusted or changed.
