Description

The Aron is a compact LED wall light with an adjustable cylindrical spotlight head mounted on a matt black aluminium backplate. A 7W 2700K LED is integrated into the head, delivering warm-white directional light controlled by a capacitive touch button on the face of the backplate. The button cycles through three dimming levels (100%, 50%, 10%) with each press, allowing the light to be set for reading, bedside use or subtle accent lighting.

Designed for bedrooms, reading corners and corridors, the Aron mounts flush to the wall at approximately 11cm projection when the head is angled downward. The spotlight head rotates on its mount, allowing light to be directed onto a pillow for late reading, onto a desk surface, or up onto a wall as indirect wash light. The touch button removes the need for separate dimmer switches and sits low on the backplate to avoid accidental activation.

The aluminium construction is finished in a low-sheen matt black powder coat that minimises reflections and pairs with both contemporary and industrial interiors. At 7cm height and 9cm width, the backplate occupies minimal wall space and works well in symmetrical pairs flanking a bed or along a hallway. The 2700K colour temperature matches incandescent bulb warmth, making the Aron suitable for late-evening use without disrupting circadian rhythm. The IP20 rating confines use to dry indoor locations.

How does the dimming work?

The Aron uses a capacitive touch button on the backplate face. Each press cycles through three brightness levels: 100%, 50% and 10%. The dimming is built into the light and does not require a wall dimmer switch.

Can the spotlight head be angled?

Yes. The cylindrical head rotates on its mount, allowing light to be directed downward for reading, horizontally across a surface, or upward onto a wall for indirect wash lighting.

Is it suitable for use above a bed?

Yes. The compact size, adjustable head and warm 2700K output make the Aron well-suited to bedside installation. Mounted at typical pillow height (90-120cm above the mattress), the light can be angled for reading without disturbing a partner. The touch button is positioned low on the backplate for easy access from bed.

Can it be used in a bathroom?

No. The IP20 rating means the Aron is not protected against moisture ingress and must only be installed in dry indoor locations. Bathrooms require IP44 or higher.
