Description
The Aries is a 44cm round wall mirror with a hand-applied silver leaf frame surrounding a bevelled glass plate. The circular format and shallow 4cm projection make it suitable for compact spaces where a full-length or large rectangular mirror would overwhelm the wall.
Designed for hallways, powder rooms, alcoves above console tables, and layered wall arrangements where multiple smaller mirrors create a cluster, the Aries works equally well as a standalone accent or grouped with other decorative elements. The bevelled glass edge catches light at an angle, creating a defined border between the reflective surface and the silver leaf frame. The 3.14kg weight requires secure wall fixings appropriate to the wall construction.
The silver leaf finish is applied by hand, so slight tonal variation between individual mirrors is normal. The metallic surface reflects ambient light and pairs with cooler-toned interiors featuring greys, whites and blues, as well as providing contrast in warmer schemes. The circular shape softens rooms dominated by rectangular furniture, doorways and window frames.

Frequently Asked
What fixing method is recommended?
The mirror weighs 3.14kg and requires wall plugs and screws appropriate to your wall type. Plasterboard walls need cavity fixings rated for at least 5kg. Solid walls can use standard wall plugs. The mirror has a hanging bracket on the rear.
Does the silver leaf tarnish over time?
Silver leaf can develop a patina if exposed to high humidity or direct handling. The finish is sealed during manufacture, but avoid placing the mirror in bathrooms or areas with consistent moisture. Dust gently with a dry microfibre cloth rather than chemical cleaners.
Can this be hung at any angle?
Yes. The circular format means there is no fixed orientation. The mirror can be hung with the hanging bracket at any point around the circumference depending on the fixing position that suits your wall layout.
Is the glass bevelled on all edges?
Yes. The bevelled edge runs continuously around the perimeter of the glass plate, creating a defined border between the reflective surface and the silver leaf frame.
