Arian Crystal Glass Wall Light - Brown Mirror Finish

The Arian is a compact wall light built around a curved smoked brown glass shade with an inlay of crystal beads suspended inside the glass envelope. The glass outer is backed by a mirror-finish steel frame that reflects and multiplies the light from the single G9 bulb behind the beads, creating a layered sparkle effect when lit. The brown-toned glass adds warmth while the mirrored steel keeps the fitting visually light.

At 13cm wide and 16cm projection from the wall, the Arian suits bedside positions, bathroom mirror flanking (IP20 rated for zones outside wet areas), hallway accent lighting and over-console positions in entrance halls. The compact size keeps the fitting from dominating narrow walls while the crystal detail gives decorative presence. The G9 lampholder accepts halogen or LED capsule bulbs up to 10W (bulb sold separately).

The crystal beads inside the glass are arranged in vertical stripes, breaking and refracting light across multiple points rather than allowing a single bright spot from the bulb. The mirror backing doubles the visual density of the beads by reflecting them, so the fitting looks fuller when viewed from the front. The brown glass softens the overall light output to a warm glow suited to ambient rather than task lighting.

What bulb does the Arian take?

The fitting takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 10W. G9 bulbs are available in halogen and LED versions. Most users choose a warm-white LED G9 at 2700K-3000K to complement the brown glass tone. Bulbs are sold separately.

Can this be used in a bathroom?

The Arian carries an IP20 rating, which means it is suitable for dry indoor locations only. In bathrooms it can be used outside the designated wet zones (typically 60cm or more from the edge of a bath or shower enclosure). It cannot be installed directly above a basin or in a shower cubicle.

How is the fitting mounted?

The Arian mounts to a standard UK wall backplate using two screws. The mirror-finish steel frame conceals the backplate once fitted. The 16cm projection from the wall means the fitting extends further than a flush wall light, so allow clearance around doorways and furniture edges.

Is the brown glass interchangeable?
