Description

Clear glass and polished chrome, with three lamp positions spread across a fixed drop measuring 47cm at its widest. The glass is clear rather than frosted, so the capsules read as small bright points and the light travels sideways as well as down, which stops the edges of a room falling into shadow. The chrome picks that light up and returns it, so the fitting looks brighter than its size would suggest. It takes G9 capsules and will dim, provided the capsules you fit are dimmable ones.

Because it is moisture rated, this is one we are happy to hang in a bathroom or a shower room, and it does the same job over a kitchen island, above a dining table or on a stairwell landing. We would choose warm white capsules for a softer glow, or cooler ones where you want more glitter off the glass and the plating. It suits anyone who wants a bit of shine overhead without bulk, and the shallow drop keeps it out of the way in rooms with ordinary ceiling heights.

Glass and plated metalwork are the whole of it, and both hold their looks with little effort: warm soapy water on a soft cloth for the glass, dried off straight away, and a dry buff on the chrome to lift fingerprints before they have a chance to mark. Switch off at the wall and let the capsules cool before you go near them. It carries a one year warranty. We also stock the same pendant in satin black, along with a matching wall light in this polished chrome finish if you would like the two to sit together in one room. Lamps are not included.
