The Argos is a 50cm flush ceiling light built around a domed brown mirrored glass shade with internal crystal drops and six G9 lamp holders arranged around the perimeter. The mirrored brown glass outer shell reflects the room with a warm smoky tint, while the crystal elements inside catch and refract light when the bulbs are on, creating sparkle behind the tinted glass envelope.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.5m where a pendant would hang too low, the Argos sits just 25cm proud of the ceiling and mounts using gravity toggles for direct fixing into plasterboard or solid ceilings. The 50cm diameter makes it appropriate for living rooms, master bedrooms, wide hallways and dining rooms of 15-20m². The brown mirrored finish pairs with warm neutrals, beiges, caramels and darker wood tones in both traditional and contemporary schemes.

The outer dome is a single piece of glass with a vacuum-metalised mirrored coating on the interior surface, giving the brown tint a depth and reflectivity that shifts depending on room lighting and viewing angle. The crystal drops inside are faceted and suspended on chrome wires, creating a secondary decorative layer visible through the glass when viewed from below. The fitting weighs 6.87kg, requiring secure ceiling fixing into joists or toggle anchors rated for the load.

The Argos includes six G9 LED bulbs rated at 6W each (total 36W), which are replaceable. The G9 bi-pin fitting allows for quick bulb changes without removing the glass dome, though accessing the bulbs requires unscrewing the chrome rim that holds the dome in place. The fitting is rated IP20 for dry indoor use only and carries a Class 1 earth connection.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The Argos projects just 25cm from the ceiling, making it appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3m or above where a pendant would hang too low or create a visual obstruction.

Does it come with bulbs?

Yes. The fitting includes six G9 LED bulbs rated at 6W each. These are replaceable — to change a bulb, unscrew the chrome rim holding the glass dome, swap the bulb, and refit the dome.
