Description
The Argos is a 2-light wall lamp built around a curved smoked brown glass shade held by a polished chrome frame, with a row of faceted crystal drops suspended beneath the glass aperture. Each of the two G9 bulb fittings sits inside the glass shade, projecting light through the tinted glass and onto the crystal drops below, which refract the light across adjacent wall surfaces.
Designed for hallways, dining rooms and bedrooms where decorative wall lighting supplements ceiling fixtures, the Argos projects 27cm from the wall once fitted and spans 22cm wide by 20cm tall. The smoked brown glass diffuses direct glare from the bulbs while allowing warm light to pass through, and the chrome frame provides structural support without obscuring the glass profile. The crystal drops add visual weight and movement below the glass dome.
The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with both warm-toned traditional interiors and cooler contemporary schemes. The brown-tinted glass adds a warm amber cast to the light output, softening the 3000K or 4000K tone of typical G9 LED bulbs. At 1.3kg fitted weight, the lamp mounts to standard plasterboard or masonry walls using two fixing points, and the IP20 rating limits use to dry indoor locations only.

Frequently Asked
What bulbs does the Argos take?
The lamp takes two G9 capsule bulbs, each rated at a maximum of 10W. G9 bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 capsules at 2700K-3000K to complement the brown glass tone.
Can this be used in a bathroom?
No. The IP20 rating means the fitting is suitable for dry indoor locations only and is not protected against moisture. It should not be installed in bathrooms, kitchens near sinks, or any area where it may be exposed to water or high humidity.
How far does it project from the wall?
The lamp projects 27cm from the wall once fitted, measured from the wall surface to the furthest point of the glass shade. This projection suits hallways and dining room walls where furniture is set back from the wall by at least 40cm.
Are the crystal drops replaceable if one breaks?
The crystal drops are individual pieces hung from the base of the fitting. If a drop breaks, contact Niori or Schuller directly to source a replacement part. The drops are not sold separately as standard stock items.
