The Argi is a 600mm table lamp built around a brown oxide metal frame shaped into a decorative spiral stem, topped with a 300mm tapered taupe fabric shade. The frame sits on a circular disc base approximately 150mm diameter, giving the lamp a stable footprint on side tables, console tables and bedside units. A single E27 bulb (sold separately) sits inside the shade, diffusing light through the woven fabric.

Designed for living rooms, bedrooms and hallway console tables, the Argi provides ambient side lighting rather than task lighting. The spiral stem gives the lamp a vertical sculptural presence without taking up much horizontal table space, making it suitable for narrower console tables and nightstands. The brown oxide finish on the metalwork carries a warm earthy tone that pairs with traditional, rustic and transitional interiors, while the taupe shade softens the contrast and integrates with neutral colour schemes.

The metal frame is powder-coated in a textured oxide finish that shows slight tonal variation across the surface, giving the appearance of aged or hand-forged metalwork. The taupe shade is a mid-tone neutral fabric, neither too light nor too dark, allowing it to sit comfortably alongside both warm wood tones and cooler grey furnishings. At 2.4kg the lamp has sufficient weight to remain stable when the shade is accidentally knocked, but remains light enough to be moved easily between rooms.

What bulb does the Argi take?

The lamp takes a standard E27 (Edison screw) bulb. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with a warm-white LED bulb between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K for ambient side lighting in living rooms and bedrooms.

Is the Argi dimmable?

Yes, provided you use a dimmable E27 bulb and a compatible dimmer switch. The lamp itself does not include dimmer controls, so dimming is managed at the wall switch or plug-in dimmer level.

What size table does it suit?

The 150mm circular base fits comfortably on bedside tables, side tables and console tables. The 600mm height works well on furniture between 500-700mm high, positioning the centre of the shade at approximately eye level when seated.

Is the brown oxide finish prone to marking?

The powder-coated oxide finish is durable and resistant to light scratching under normal handling. The textured surface naturally camouflages minor marks better than a smooth polished finish would.
