Description

The Argi is a 550mm diameter 3 light chandelier built around a brown oxide metal frame with three taupe fabric shades on curved arms. The metal frame uses intersecting circular bands and scrolled curves that give the fitting a forged-iron look, while the three E27 bulb holders sit beneath taupe drum shades. Bulbs are sold separately.

Designed for dining rooms, kitchens and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above, the Argi works where a traditional chandelier would be too ornate but a simple pendant feels too minimal. The adjustable drop runs from 550mm minimum to 1800mm maximum, set on installation using the chain suspension. The 550mm diameter suits tables 1200-1600mm long or kitchen islands of similar length.

The brown oxide finish on the metal gives a darker, aged appearance compared to polished or brushed metals, sitting somewhere between matt black and raw steel in tone. The taupe fabric shades diffuse the light from the three bulbs and soften the overall silhouette, preventing the metal curves from reading as too industrial. The frame weighs 2.1kg, providing enough mass to hang securely on the chain without needing additional ceiling reinforcement beyond a standard rose fitting.

What bulbs does the Argi take?

The chandelier has three E27 (Edison screw) fittings. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED bulbs between 6-10W and 2700K-3000K to complement the taupe shades and brown oxide frame.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, provided you fit dimmable E27 bulbs and pair the fitting with a compatible dimmer switch on the circuit. The chandelier itself does not include dimming electronics.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop is 550mm, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.4m or above when the chandelier hangs over a dining table or kitchen island. For entrance halls or vaulted ceilings, the chain extends to 1800mm maximum.

How is the drop adjusted?

The chandelier suspends on a chain that runs through the canopy. On installation, remove excess chain links to set the desired drop, then conceal the cable within the remaining chain length. Once fitted, the drop is fixed unless you re-access the ceiling rose to add or remove links.
