Arena 500mm Dimmable LED Ceiling/Wall Light - White IP44

The Arena is a 500mm square LED ceiling or wall light with a white opal acrylic diffuser moulded into flowing wave contours. The integrated 40W LED sits behind the diffuser and casts 3200 lumens through the textured surface, softening shadows and distributing light evenly across bathrooms, hallways and bedrooms. The LED is tuneable between 3000K warm white and 6500K cool daylight using the included remote control, and is fully dimmable across the same control.

Rated IP44, the Arena is suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3 where splashing water is present, making it appropriate for positions above sinks, adjacent to showers, and on general bathroom ceilings. The 75mm projection from the wall or ceiling suits rooms with standard or low ceiling heights where deeper fittings would intrude. The light can be surface-mounted as a flush ceiling fitting or wall-mounted horizontally, giving flexibility in positioning.

The wave texture on the diffuser adds dimension to what would otherwise be a flat square panel, catching light differently as viewing angle changes. The white finish integrates with white ceilings and tiled surfaces without adding colour contrast. At 3kg the fitting requires secure fixing to joists or solid wall — the mounting plate accepts standard UK ceiling rose wiring or wall back box connections.

The tuneable white function allows the same fitting to provide warm task lighting for evening routines at 3000K and cooler, more alert light for morning grooming at 5000-6500K. The remote control stores brightness and colour temperature settings between uses, so the light returns to the last-used configuration when switched back on at the wall.

What bathroom zones is the Arena suitable for?

The IP44 rating makes the Arena suitable for bathroom zones 2 and 3, which covers positions outside the shower enclosure or above the bath where splashing water is present. It is not rated for use inside shower enclosures or directly above baths (zone 1).

How does the tuneable white function work?

The included remote control adjusts the LED colour temperature between 3000K warm white and 6500K cool daylight. The remote also dims the light across the full output range from 5% to 100%. Settings are stored in the driver, so the light returns to the last-used brightness and colour temperature when switched back on at the wall.

Can it be mounted on the wall as well as the ceiling?

Yes. The Arena can be surface-mounted as a flush ceiling light or wall-mounted horizontally. The 75mm depth and square profile suit both applications. Wall mounting typically requires a suitable back box or solid wall fixing depending on the surface.

What size room does the 3200 lumen output suit?

At 3200 lumens, the Arena provides sufficient general lighting for bathrooms and hallways up to approximately 10-12 square metres. For larger bathrooms or where brighter task lighting is needed at mirrors, consider pairing the Arena with additional directional downlights or wall lights.
