Description

The Ardent is a compact alabaster column pendant built around a 260mm tall cylinder of natural Spanish alabaster, capped top and bottom with brushed brass fittings and suspended from a slim black cable. An integrated LED inside the column casts warm 3000K light through the stone, turning the alabaster cylinder itself into the diffuser and revealing its veining along the full height of the form.

The 80mm diameter and 260mm height make this a small-scale pendant suited to bedside positions over nightstands, linear arrangements above a kitchen island or breakfast bar, and clustered groupings at staggered heights in stairwells or double-height entrances. The narrow footprint means several units can be hung in close proximity without crowding, and the slim cable suspension keeps the visual focus on the stone rather than the hardware.

Each alabaster cylinder is cut from natural stone, so soft white tones, grey veining and warm mineral undertones vary between individual pieces. The brushed brass caps frame the column with a defined edge and a low-sheen warm metallic that reads closer to antique brass than polished.
