Description

The Arcus is a 3m aluminium LED profile cover designed to protect LED strip installations from dust and physical contact whilst improving heat dissipation during operation. The cover measures 15mm in projection and clips onto compatible LED profile channels, providing a transparent or semi-diffused barrier depending on finish selection.

Designed for continuous-run LED strip installations in kitchens, offices, retail displays and architectural lighting schemes, the Arcus cover reduces visible LED diode hotspots by diffusing the light output along the full 3000mm length. The aluminium construction conducts heat away from the LED strip, reducing operating temperature and extending LED lifespan compared to uncovered installations.

Each 3m length can be cut to size on site using a hacksaw or mitre saw, allowing single or multiple lengths to be fitted precisely within a run. The cover width and profile dimensions match Ideal Lux's standard LED channel systems, providing a secure clip-fit without additional fixings. The 15mm projection sits low enough to tuck under kitchen wall units or within shelf recesses without protruding into the visible plane.
