Description

The Arcs is a 220mm outdoor LED wall light with a curved anthracite metal frame housing eight integrated LEDs arranged to cast light both upward and downward. The dual-beam configuration projects 830 lumens of 3000K warm white light across wall surfaces, creating a grazing wash effect above and below the fitting.

Designed for exterior walls, patios, garden gates and covered porches, the Arcs suits contemporary and industrial-style properties where directional outdoor lighting is needed without the bulk of a traditional bulkhead. The IP54 rating protects the internal components from dust ingress and water splashes, making the fitting suitable for UK outdoor use in most exposed positions short of direct rainfall jets. The 48mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting compact while the curved face shields the LEDs from direct view at eye level.

The anthracite finish is a dark grey powder coat with a fine texture, sitting between charcoal and black. It pairs well with dark render, painted brickwork, Corten steel cladding and modern timber facades. The integrated LEDs draw 8W at mains voltage and are non-dimmable, providing fixed-output illumination suitable for security and ambient exterior lighting where adjustable brightness is not required. At 0.85kg the fitting is light enough to mount on standard external cavity walls without additional bracing.

Can this be used in fully exposed positions?

The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, which covers most UK outdoor applications including patios, porches and exterior walls. It is not rated for direct high-pressure water jets or full submersion, so avoid positioning where water pools or where cleaning equipment would spray directly onto the fitting.

Is the light dimmable?

No. The integrated LEDs operate at fixed output and are not compatible with dimmer switches. The fitting delivers 830 lumens continuously when powered.

What is the light distribution pattern?

The eight LEDs are arranged to cast light both upward and downward from the curved frame, creating a dual-beam wash effect on the wall surface. The curved face shields direct glare at eye level while projecting light above and below the fitting.

How is it wired?
