Arco 2 Light Asymmetric Wall Light - Brass with Ribbed Glass (Left High)

The Arco is a 2-light wall light with an asymmetric brass frame where the left arm sits higher than the right, designed to be paired with a mirrored counterpart for symmetrical installation either side of a mirror, fireplace or bed. Each arm carries a cylindrical ribbed glass shade with a G9 bulb fitting inside, and the brass frame curves outward from a circular backplate to position the shades approximately 250mm from the wall.

This fitting suits hallways, bedroom bedheads and bathroom mirrors where wall lights are installed as a pair and need to create visual balance without identical positioning. The asymmetric design means the left fixture has its upper arm on the left, and the right fixture (sold separately) has its upper arm on the right, so when installed 600-900mm apart they mirror each other. The ribbed glass diffuses the light output and softens the G9 bulb glare, making the fitting suitable for eye-level installation next to mirrors without causing direct glare when looking forward.

The brass finish is a mid-tone warm metal that pairs with both traditional and contemporary interiors, and the ribbed glass adds texture without overwhelming smaller rooms. At 380mm high and 250mm wide the fitting has enough presence to anchor a wall section without dominating it. The IP20 rating restricts use to dry indoor areas — bedrooms, living rooms and hallways — rather than bathrooms with shower zones, though it can be used in larger bathrooms outside zones 1 and 2.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Arco takes two G9 capsule bulbs up to 40W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 4-6W G9 LED bulbs in warm white (2700K-3000K) for ambient bedside or hallway lighting.

Why is one arm higher than the other?

The asymmetric design is intentional. This fitting is designed to be installed as part of a mirrored pair — one with the left arm high, one with the right arm high — so when placed either side of a mirror or bed they create symmetrical balance across the wall.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The IP20 rating means it can only be used in dry areas outside bathroom zones 1 and 2. It can be installed in larger bathrooms well away from showers and baths, but not within 60cm of a bath edge or inside a shower enclosure.

How far does it project from the wall?

The curved brass arms position the ribbed glass shades approximately 250mm forward from the wall once installed, giving clearance for switches, sockets or skirting boards directly below the fitting.
