Description

The Arcana-1 is a rectangular LED outdoor wall light made from powder-coated die-cast aluminium in a grey finish, with a recessed opening covered by tempered glass. The integrated 6W LED casts warm 3000K light downward through the glass aperture, creating a pooled wash of light on the wall below the fitting. The IP65 rating seals the housing against dust and water jets from any direction.

Designed for surface mounting on external walls, the Arcana-1 suits porch areas, garage doors, side passages and garden wall accents where a low-level marker light is needed without projecting far from the building line. The 130mm projection and 225mm width keep the fitting compact enough for narrow passages while the recessed aperture prevents direct glare when approached from the side. The grey finish sits neutrally against painted render, brick and timber cladding.

The die-cast aluminium body resists corrosion in coastal and high-rainfall environments, and the powder-coat finish requires no maintenance beyond occasional wiping to remove dirt. The tempered glass is impact-resistant and tolerates temperature changes between summer sun and winter frost without cracking. The 6W LED is factory-fitted and rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to over a decade of nightly use before replacement is needed.

What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP65 means the fitting is fully dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. The Arcana-1 can be mounted in fully exposed positions including coastal areas, under eaves, or on walls subject to direct rain without the housing being compromised.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

The 6W LED is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 30,000 hours of operation, which equates to over a decade of nightly use. When the LED reaches end of life the entire fitting is replaced.

Is the light dimmable?

No. The integrated LED driver does not support dimming. The fitting operates at fixed output when powered on.

What colour is the light output?

The 3000K colour temperature produces warm white light, similar to a traditional halogen bulb. This is warmer and more amber-toned than daylight (5000K-6500K) but cooler than the orange glow of old incandescent bulbs (2700K).
