Aquaria 12 Light LED Glass Cluster Pendant - Matte Gold/Transparent

The Aquaria is a 12-light cluster pendant from Schuller, suspending twelve polyhedral glass shades on individual height-adjustable cables from a 62cm circular matte-gold canopy. Each shade is moulded from transparent glass with decorative air bubbles trapped inside, creating a faceted crystal-like texture that refracts the integrated LED light. The shades descend in a spiral formation, with the longest drop reaching 250cm in the standard configuration and adjustable between 150-500cm depending on ceiling height.

Designed for double-height spaces, the Aquaria suits stairwells, duplex dining areas, hotel lobbies and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 3.5m or higher. The spiral arrangement spreads the light vertically across the drop zone rather than concentrating it in a single plane, creating layered ambient lighting as well as a sculptural focal point. The canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the twelve cables run through the central fixing, allowing each shade to be set at a different height during installation.

Each glass shade measures approximately 12cm across and weighs 1.8kg, with the complete fitting totalling 22.1kg when all twelve shades are mounted. The matte-gold finish on the canopy and cable housings reduces glare under daylight and pairs with warm-toned metals, marble, dark timber and concrete. The integrated LED runs at 80W total across all twelve shades, delivering 3000K warm-white light at CRI >80. The transparent glass with internal bubbles creates scattered refraction patterns on surrounding walls when lit, softening the light output compared to smooth glass.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Aquaria is designed for double-height spaces with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above. The spiral configuration can be adjusted between 150cm and 500cm total drop, allowing it to be tailored to the specific room height during installation.

Is the LED dimmable?

The integrated LED system is rated at 80W across all twelve shades. Dimmer compatibility depends on the specific dimmer switch installed. Contact us before pairing with a dimmer to confirm compatibility.

How are the cables adjusted for height?

Each of the twelve cables can be individually adjusted during installation, allowing the spiral formation to be customised to suit the ceiling height and room proportions. The cables run through the central canopy fixing and lock at the desired length.
