Description

The Ano-2 is a 140mm circular outdoor wall or ceiling light in graphite-finished cast aluminium, with three horizontal grille bars set across the white polycarbonate lens. An included 9W GX53 LED inside the housing casts 3000K warm white light through the lens, with the grille bars creating horizontal shadow lines that break up the light output.

Designed for mounting on exterior walls beside doorways, above garage doors, under covered porches or on soffits where ceiling mounting is needed, the Ano-2 suits residential and commercial exterior lighting. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashes from any direction, making the fitting suitable for exposed locations. The 57mm projection from the wall or ceiling keeps the profile low enough to avoid accidental contact in walkways and beside doorways.

The cast aluminium construction and graphite powder-coat finish resist corrosion in coastal and industrial environments. The grille bars are part of the single-piece front housing, not a separate decorative cover, so there are no additional fixings or loose parts. The GX53 socket sits on a twist-and-lock bayonet mount inside the housing, allowing bulb replacement without removing the entire fitting from the wall.

Can the Ano-2 be used in bathrooms or near swimming pools?

The IP54 rating protects against splashes from any direction, which makes the Ano-2 acceptable for outdoor use under covered areas and beside doorways. For direct spray or full immersion zones (such as inside a shower enclosure or at pool waterline level), a higher IP rating would be required.

Is the bulb replaceable?

Yes. The GX53 bulb sits on a twist-and-lock bayonet socket inside the housing. To replace the bulb, unscrew the front grille housing, twist the old GX53 bulb anticlockwise to release it, insert the new bulb and twist clockwise to lock it in place, then refit the front housing.

What colour temperature does the included LED provide?

The included 9W GX53 LED is rated at 3000K, which sits in the warm white range. This produces a slightly yellow-toned light similar to traditional halogen bulbs, rather than the cooler blue-white light of daylight-temperature LEDs.

Can this be mounted on a sloped ceiling or angled wall?

The Ano-2 is designed for flat horizontal or vertical surfaces. Mounting on a sloped surface would require a custom bracket or adapter to bring the mounting surface back to horizontal or vertical, as the light itself has a flat circular back plate.
