Description

The Ano-1 is a 140mm round outdoor wall and ceiling light in a graphite cast aluminium body, housing a GX53 bulb fitting with an integrated 9W 3000K LED. The IP54 rating protects against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction, making the fitting suitable for external walls, porches, covered pathways and exterior staircases.

The low-profile design sits 52mm from the wall or ceiling, providing functional lighting for building entrances, side passages, carports and covered outdoor areas without projecting far from the mounting surface. The fitting can be oriented on a vertical wall or horizontal ceiling surface depending on where light is needed, and the diffuser distributes illumination evenly across the surrounding area rather than creating a harsh spotlight effect.

The graphite finish is a mid-tone grey that sits between lighter silver tones and matt black, pairing with most external cladding materials including render, brick, timber and composite panels. The cast aluminium body resists corrosion in coastal and urban environments better than pressed steel alternatives, and the sealed construction keeps moisture away from the electrical components and LED driver.

What does the IP54 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP54 means the fitting is protected against dust ingress and water splashing from any direction. It is suitable for covered outdoor locations such as porches, eaves, carports and covered walkways, but should not be installed in fully exposed positions where it would receive direct rain for prolonged periods.

Can the LED be replaced?

Yes. The fitting uses a GX53 bulb fitting, and the integrated 9W LED can be replaced if it fails after the typical 20,000-30,000 hour lifespan. Replacement GX53 LEDs are available separately.

Can it be mounted on both walls and ceilings?

Yes. The Ano-1 is designed for dual mounting orientation. It can be fixed to a vertical wall to light a pathway or entrance, or to a horizontal ceiling to light an area beneath a porch or canopy.

What colour is the light output?

The integrated LED produces 3000K warm white light, which is a neutral warm tone similar to halogen bulbs. This is typically preferred for exterior residential lighting over cooler 4000K or 6000K options.
