What does the IP65 rating mean for outdoor use?

IP65 provides protection against dust ingress and water jets from any direction. It is not submersible and should not be installed where it will be directly flooded or submerged.

Is this suitable for low ceilings?

Yes. The 50mm height means the fitting projects only 50mm below the ceiling surface once installed, making it appropriate for rooms with ceiling heights as low as 2.1-2.2m where a pendant or semi-flush would intrude into headroom.

Can it be dimmed?

No. The integrated LED driver is not dimmable. The light operates at full 2500-lumen output when switched on and off when switched off. Connecting it to a dimmer switch may damage the driver.

What colour is the light output?

The 4000K colour temperature produces cool white light, similar to daylight or office lighting. This is brighter and more neutral than warm white (2700-3000K) and is better suited to functional spaces like bathrooms, utility rooms and outdoor areas than living rooms or bedrooms.
