Andromeda LED Glass Pendant Light 5W 3000K - Light Gold & Clear

The Andromeda is a 130mm spherical glass pendant light with a clear outer globe and a frosted inner cone, suspended from a light gold metal canopy on a black fabric cable. The integrated 5W LED sits inside the frosted cone, casting 500 lumens of warm 3000K light outward through the clear glass while the frosted element diffuses the direct view of the LED chip itself.

Designed for dining tables, breakfast bars, kitchen islands and bedside pendants, the Andromeda works as a single drop in compact spaces or in multiples over longer surfaces. The 2000mm maximum drop allows the pendant to be set at the right height for most UK ceiling configurations, typically 700-800mm above a worktop or dining table. The light gold canopy fits standard UK ceiling roses and the cable is adjustable during installation.

The clear and frosted glass combination provides a balance between direct downlight and soft ambient glow — the frosted cone prevents glare when viewed from below, while the clear outer sphere allows light to spread sideways into the room. The light gold finish on the canopy and lower fitting adds warmth without the high reflectivity of polished brass, pairing well with oak, walnut and warm-toned worktops. At 390g the pendant is light enough to be installed on most ceiling roses without reinforcement.

Is the Andromeda dimmable?

No. The integrated LED operates at a fixed 5W output on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 2000mm maximum drop allows the pendant to work in most UK rooms with standard 2.4m ceilings. For dining or kitchen island use, the pendant typically sits 700-800mm above the surface, which works comfortably in ceiling heights of 2.4m or above. The minimum drop of 230mm suits lower ceilings or flush-mount applications.

Can multiple Andromeda pendants be used together?

Yes. The compact 130mm diameter makes the Andromeda suitable for multi-drop installations over kitchen islands or dining tables. Spacing three pendants 400-500mm apart over a 1500-1800mm island is typical.

How is the glass cleaned?

The clear glass outer sphere can be wiped with a damp microfibre cloth and standard glass cleaner. The frosted inner cone is sealed inside and does not require cleaning in normal use.
