Andromeda 8 Light LED Glass Cluster Pendant - Light Gold Multi-Finish

The Andromeda is an 8-light LED cluster pendant from Mantra, combining copper, chrome, amber, clear and frosted glass shades suspended from a 440mm light gold ceiling plate. Each of the eight pendants houses an integrated LED behind a frosted inner cone, with the outer glass shades in alternating metallic and translucent finishes. The combined 40W LED output delivers 4000lm at 3000K, casting warm white light through the layered glass and creating metallic reflections from the copper and chrome finishes.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and stairwells with ceiling heights of 2.7m or higher, the cluster configuration allows the individual drops to be arranged at varying heights between 240mm and 3000mm on installation. The light gold frame provides a warm metallic anchor for the mixed-finish glass shades, working in interiors where copper, brass or warm grey tones are present. The 440mm canopy diameter fits standard UK ceiling roses and houses the LED driver internally.

The glass shades combine five finishes across the eight pendants: copper-toned metallic glass, polished chrome-effect glass, amber translucent glass, clear transparent glass, and frosted white glass. This mix creates tonal variation when the pendant is lit, with the frosted inner cones diffusing the LED source while the outer metallic and coloured glass layers add reflected colour and depth. The 3.4kg weight is distributed across the eight suspension cables, requiring ceiling fixings rated for the full weight plus a safety margin.

Is the Andromeda dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at a fixed 40W output on standard 230V mains. Pairing with a dimmer switch will not work and may damage the LED driver.

Can the drop heights be adjusted individually?

Yes. Each of the eight suspension cables can be set to a different length between 240mm and 3000mm during installation, allowing you to create a cascading or staggered cluster arrangement suited to the ceiling height and room layout.

What ceiling height is needed?

A minimum ceiling height of 2.7m is recommended to allow the pendant to hang at a useful drop without overwhelming the space. Higher ceilings of 3.5m or above allow the full 3000mm drop range to be used for stairwells or vaulted spaces.
