Description

The Andromeda is an 8-light LED bar pendant combining copper-toned, chrome-plated, amber and clear glass globes suspended at varied heights from a 530mm x 330mm light gold rectangular canopy. Each globe houses a frosted inner diffuser around an integrated LED light source, with the outer glass shells in four distinct metallic and transparent finishes. The combined 40W LED output delivers 4000lm at 3000K warm white.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Andromeda functions as both ambient and decorative lighting. The maximum 3000mm drop allows the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a surface depending on ceiling height, while the minimum 240mm drop suits lower ceilings when cable length is shortened during installation. The rectangular canopy covers standard UK ceiling roses and the eight black fabric cables run parallel before splaying to their respective globes.

The light gold canopy and suspension stems contrast with the cooler metallic globe finishes, creating visual tension between warm and cool tones. The frosted inner diffusers soften the LED point sources and prevent glare when viewed from below, while the outer glass shells add reflective and transparent layers depending on finish. The 3.6kg weight distributes across the rectangular canopy mounting, making the fitting suitable for plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings.
