Andromeda 8 Light LED Crystal Bar Pendant Light - Multicoloured

The Andromeda is an 8-light LED bar pendant combining copper-toned, chrome-plated, amber and clear glass globes suspended at varied heights from a 530mm x 330mm light gold rectangular canopy. Each globe houses a frosted inner diffuser around an integrated LED light source, with the outer glass shells in four distinct metallic and transparent finishes. The combined 40W LED output delivers 4000lm at 3000K warm white.

Designed for dining tables, kitchen islands and entrance halls with ceiling heights of 2.6m or higher, the Andromeda functions as both ambient and decorative lighting. The maximum 3000mm drop allows the pendant to be set 700-900mm above a surface depending on ceiling height, while the minimum 240mm drop suits lower ceilings when cable length is shortened during installation. The rectangular canopy covers standard UK ceiling roses and the eight black fabric cables run parallel before splaying to their respective globes.

The light gold canopy and suspension stems contrast with the cooler metallic globe finishes, creating visual tension between warm and cool tones. The frosted inner diffusers soften the LED point sources and prevent glare when viewed from below, while the outer glass shells add reflective and transparent layers depending on finish. The 3.6kg weight distributes across the rectangular canopy mounting, making the fitting suitable for plasterboard ceilings with appropriate fixings. The non-dimmable LED is factory-fitted and rated for approximately 25,000 hours of operation.

Is the Andromeda dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is rated at 40W on 220-240V mains and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The LED is factory-fitted and cannot be replaced with a dimmable alternative.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 3000mm maximum drop is adjustable on installation. For a dining table or kitchen island the pendant typically sits 700-900mm above the surface, which works in rooms with ceiling heights of 2.6m or above. The minimum 240mm drop allows the fitting to be used in lower-ceiling spaces when cables are shortened during fitting.

How are the different glass finishes distributed?

The image shows eight globes in four finish types: two copper-toned metallic, two chrome-plated metallic, two amber transparent, and two clear transparent. The exact configuration may vary slightly between production batches, but the multicoloured palette remains consistent.

Can individual globes be replaced if one breaks?
