The Andromeda is a 14-light cluster pendant from Mantra, suspending fourteen individual glass shades from a 680mm circular light gold canopy. Each shade houses an integrated LED behind a frosted inner cone, with the outer glass shell finished in copper, chrome, amber or clear. The shades hang at staggered heights on black cables, creating a cascading arrangement that spans a maximum 3000mm drop when fully extended.

Designed for double-height spaces, stairwells, dining tables and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 3m or higher, the Andromeda functions as both task lighting and a sculptural focal point. The 70W integrated LED delivers 7050lm total output at 3000K, distributed across the fourteen individual points rather than concentrated in a single source. The varying glass finishes produce different qualities of light: the copper and amber tones cast warm reflections, the chrome reflects cooler highlights, and the clear shades allow direct light transmission. The minimum 240mm drop means the fitting can be adjusted to suit different ceiling heights during installation.

The light gold canopy provides a neutral metallic base that ties the mixed glass finishes together without competing for visual attention. What ceiling height is needed?

The pendant works best in rooms with ceiling heights of 3m or higher. The 3000mm maximum drop allows the lowest shades to hang well below the canopy in double-height spaces, while the 240mm minimum drop keeps the fitting compact in lower rooms if the cables are shortened during installation.

How are the different glass finishes distributed?
