Description

The Andrea is a 100cm diameter 12-light chandelier built on a two-tier polished chrome frame with twelve cream fabric drum shades and black crystal teardrop accents beneath each shade. Each arm curves outward from a central chrome stem, arranging the twelve E14 bulb positions across two levels — six on the upper tier, six on the lower — creating a balanced symmetrical silhouette when viewed from below.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, above large dining tables (2.4m or longer), and stairwells with ceiling heights of 3.5m or above, the Andrea requires substantial vertical clearance. The drop is adjustable between 800mm minimum and 2000mm maximum on installation, allowing the chandelier to be positioned 700-900mm above a table surface or centred in a void depending on ceiling height. The 1000mm spread means it needs at least a 1.3m clear diameter to avoid visual crowding against walls or furniture.

The cream fabric shades diffuse the E14 bulb light (bulbs sold separately) into a soft ambient glow rather than directing task light, so the chandelier functions as decorative and ambient lighting rather than a primary work light.
