Description

The Amelia is a 324mm semi-flush ceiling light built around a dome-shaped cast glass diffuser held by a polished chrome metal trim ring. Two E27 bulbs (sold separately) sit inside the glass dome, with horizontal ribbing on the inner surface diffusing the light output across a 180-degree spread. The metal trim ring bolts to a ceiling plate via two visible decorative clasps that double as functional fixings.

Designed for rooms with ceiling heights of 2.3-2.6m where a full pendant would hang too low, the 170mm projection from ceiling to base keeps the fitting compact without sacrificing light distribution. Typical installations include hallway ceilings, landing areas, compact bathrooms, and bedrooms where ambient overhead light is needed. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light and pairs with modern, art deco and transitional interiors that use chrome hardware on doors, taps and furniture.

The cast glass diffuser weighs approximately 1.2kg and shows horizontal moulding lines visible when the light is off, adding texture to the otherwise smooth chrome hardware. Can it be installed on a sloped ceiling?

No. This semi-flush mount is designed for horizontal ceiling installation only. The weight of the glass dome and the fixed angle of the ceiling plate mean it cannot be safely mounted on angled or vaulted ceilings.
