Description
This pack of three amber LED vintage bulbs gives you the look of an old filament lamp at just 4W per bulb. Each one is amber tinted glass in a tapered shape, wide and rounded at the crown and narrowing toward a metal screw cap, with slender LED filaments standing in vertical strands at the centre. Every bulb is 14.2cm long and 6.4cm across, fits an E27 lampholder and gives 400lm of light at a colour temperature of 2200K, a deep, golden warm white. They are rated IP20, which settles where they belong: indoors, in dry rooms only.
Because the glass and the filaments are part of the look, these bulbs are at their best in fittings that leave the bulb on show: bare pendants, cage shades, open lampholders on a cord and table lamps with an open or clear shade. They suit a living room, dining room, hallway or bedroom, anywhere dry where you want a low, golden light through the evening. Across a row of three pendants over a dining table or a kitchen island, matching bulbs give every drop the same colour of light, and one pack fills a triple pendant in one go.
The glass is tinted amber, which colours the light as well as the look whenever the bulbs are lit. They are not dimmable, so we would put them on a standard switch rather than a dimmer. Each runs at 220-240V, 50/60Hz, which suits UK mains, and carries an energy class of F; the pack weighs 0.19KG. For care, switch off and let the glass cool, then wipe it with a soft, dry cloth, since a clean bulb gives its full light. Before you buy, check that your lampholder takes an E27 cap and that your shade has room for a bulb 14.2cm long.

No. These bulbs are not dimmable, so we recommend using them on a standard switch rather than a dimmer.

No. They are rated IP20, which means indoors and dry rooms only, so keep them away from bathrooms, outdoor fittings and anywhere damp.

The colour temperature is 2200K, a deep golden warm white, and the amber glass adds to that low, cosy glow.
How big is each bulb?

How bright are the bulbs?
Each bulb gives 400lm of light at 4W, a soft output best suited to decorative fittings where the bulb is on show.
