Description
This is a globe LED bulb in amber glass, 12cm long and 8cm across, with a single slim filament running straight up through the centre of the sphere. It has a standard E27 screw cap in a brass colour, so it fits the large screw lampholders found in many pendants and lamps. It draws just 2W and gives 100lm at 1800K, which is a very warm, low glow closer to candlelight than to ordinary household white. The IP rating is IP20, which settles where it belongs: indoors, in dry rooms.
We would put it where the bulb itself is on show: a bare pendant over a dining table, an open cage shade, or a table lamp in a living room or bedroom where the amber glass and the filament can be seen. It is not suitable as a main light source, and that is worth knowing before you buy. At 100lm it sets a mood rather than lighting a whole room, so pair it with a brighter ceiling light or reading lamp for tasks, and let the globe do the atmosphere in the evenings.
It is dimmable, with 3-step dimming and a memory function, so you can choose a softer or brighter glow to suit the moment. It runs on 220-240V, 50/60Hz, the standard UK mains supply. The amber tint runs through the whole globe, and a patterned collar sits between the glass and the cap. Packed, it weighs 0.123KG. Before ordering, check that your lampholder takes an E27 cap and that the shade or fitting leaves room for a globe 8cm across and 12cm long.

Will this bulb fit my lamp?
It has an E27 screw cap, the larger standard screw fitting, and the globe is 8cm across and 12cm long, so check your shade has room for that size.
Can this bulb go in a bathroom or a garden?
No. It is rated IP20, which means indoor use in dry rooms only, so keep it to spaces such as living rooms, dining rooms and bedrooms.
Is the bulb dimmable?
Yes. It is dimmable, with 3-step dimming and a memory function, so you can choose between stepped levels of warm glow from the one bulb.
How bright is this bulb?
It gives 100lm from 2W at 1800K, a soft and very warm amber glow. It is not suitable as a main light source, so we suggest it for mood and accent lighting.
