Amano 9 Light Crystal Cluster Pendant Light - Polished Chrome

The Amano is a 9-light cluster pendant built around nine faceted crystal elements, each set within a polished chrome frame formed from three curved steel bands. The crystals are oval-faceted and positioned inside the metal frames to refract light both inward and outward, creating prismatic reflections across walls and ceilings. Each pendant hangs on an adjustable cable from a 700mm-diameter circular chrome canopy that houses the electrical connections and cable anchor points.

Designed for dining tables, stairwells and double-height entrance halls, the Amano's adjustable drop range of 230mm to 4.5m allows the nine pendants to be configured in a tight cluster, a staggered cascade, or a spiral formation depending on ceiling height and the shape of the room below. The 700mm canopy covers a wide ceiling area and distributes the pendants in a balanced geometric arrangement. Each pendant requires a G9 bulb up to 33W (bulbs sold separately), giving flexibility to choose LED, halogen or warm-white colour temperatures.

The polished chrome finish reflects ambient light and contrasts with the clear crystal, accentuating the geometric frame design. The three-band steel structure around each crystal is formed from flat curved metal that tapers at top and bottom, giving each pendant a sculptural profile even when unlit. The 10.4kg total weight includes all nine pendants, canopy and cabling, and requires secure ceiling fixing into a joist or reinforced ceiling rose.

What bulbs does it take?

The Amano uses nine G9 capsule bulbs, maximum 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users choose G9 LED bulbs between 2.5-5W and 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light and lower running costs than halogen equivalents.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. Both the bulb and the dimmer must be rated for LED if using LED bulbs. Check bulb packaging for dimmer compatibility before purchasing.

Can the drop heights be adjusted individually?

Yes. Each of the nine pendants hangs on an adjustable cable, allowing them to be set at different heights during installation to create a staggered or cascading arrangement. The minimum drop is 230mm and the maximum is 4.5m.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 700mm canopy diameter and adjustable drops make the Amano suitable for standard 2.4m ceilings (set at minimum drop) or double-height rooms up to 5m (configured as a cascade). For dining tables, a typical configuration suspends the lowest pendant 700-800mm above the table surface.
