Amano 5 Light Crystal Cluster Pendant Light - Polished Chrome

The Amano is a 5-light crystal cluster pendant with five elongated crystal prisms suspended from a 500mm polished chrome circular canopy. Each prism is cut with facets that refract light into multiple angles, with the outer chrome shell acting as a secondary reflector. The five pendants hang at staggered heights on adjustable cables, creating a vertical cascade of light and reflection.

Designed for double-height entrance halls, open-plan living and dining areas, and stairwell voids where ceiling heights allow a long drop, the Amano suits rooms with 3m or higher ceilings. The minimum drop of 230mm permits installation in standard 2.4m rooms if needed, while the maximum 4500mm drop handles full two-storey voids. Each pendant houses a G9 bulb (sold separately) behind the faceted crystal, with the light passing through the prism before reflecting off the polished chrome outer shell. The canopy fits a standard UK ceiling rose and the cables are individually adjustable during installation to create symmetrical or asymmetric arrangements.

The polished chrome finish gives a mirror-like surface that reflects both the crystal and the surrounding room, amplifying the visual presence of the fitting. Each crystal prism is hand-cut and weighs approximately 1.1kg, contributing to the overall 5.5kg weight of the complete fixture. The chrome outer shells are shaped to echo traditional Moroccan lantern profiles but executed in a modern material palette. The five-light configuration provides adequate ambient light for a 4-5m dining table or a 20-25m² living space when paired with 33W G9 LED bulbs at 3000K.

What bulbs does it take and are they included?

The Amano takes five G9 bulbs up to 33W each. Bulbs are sold separately. Most installations use 33W G9 LED bulbs at 2700K-3000K for warm ambient light, though higher kelvin temperatures can be used for cooler-toned interiors.

Is it dimmable?

Yes, if paired with dimmable G9 bulbs and a compatible dimmer switch. The fitting itself has no dimmer — dimming is controlled by the wall switch and bulb combination.

What ceiling height is needed?

The minimum drop of 230mm allows installation in standard 2.4m ceiling rooms, though the visual impact is greater with higher ceilings. The maximum 4500mm drop suits double-height voids, stairwells and entrance halls with ceiling heights up to 5-6m.

Can the drop heights be adjusted individually?

Yes. Each of the five pendants hangs on an individually adjustable cable, allowing you to create symmetrical clustering at identical heights or staggered cascades during installation. Once set, the heights remain fixed unless adjusted again.
