The Amano is a 4-light cluster pendant from Diyas Lighting, featuring four individual faceted crystal shades suspended from a 380mm polished chrome ceiling plate. Each shade consists of a teardrop-shaped crystal core surrounded by a polished chrome outer shell that curves to points at top and bottom, giving the silhouette a lantern-like profile. The four pendants hang on adjustable cables, allowing them to be set at staggered or uniform heights depending on the installation site.

Designed for dining areas, double-height hallways, and stairwell voids where vertical space allows for a clustered arrangement, the Amano works best with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. The adjustable drop runs from a minimum of 230mm to a maximum of 4500mm, making the fitting viable for both standard residential ceilings and commercial or loft spaces with much greater heights. Each pendant houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately) rated up to 33W, giving a combined maximum of 132W across the four lights.

The faceted crystal cores refract light outward through their cut faces, producing multiple points of sparkle when the bulbs are lit. What bulbs does the Amano take?

Each of the four pendants takes a single G9 capsule bulb up to 33W. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with warm-white LED G9 bulbs between 3W-5W and 2700K-3000K for ambient dining or hallway lighting.

Is the Amano dimmable?

Yes, the fitting is compatible with dimmer switches when paired with dimmable G9 bulbs. Non-dimmable bulbs will not respond to dimmer controls and may flicker or fail if used on a dimmed circuit.

Can the drop heights be adjusted individually?

Yes. Each of the four cables is independently adjustable during installation, allowing the pendants to be hung at staggered heights to create a cascading effect or set uniformly for a symmetrical arrangement.

What ceiling height is needed?

The 230mm minimum drop suits standard 2.4m ceilings when hung as a tight cluster. For a staggered arrangement or to make full use of the vertical space, ceiling heights of 2.7m or above are recommended. The 4500mm maximum drop accommodates double-height hallways and stairwell voids.
