Each pendant houses a single G9 bulb (sold separately) behind the precision-cut crystal, which refracts the light into multiple directions.

Designed for double-height hallways, stairwells and open-plan living areas with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above, the Amano provides decorative task and ambient light without dominating sightlines. The 400mm ceiling plate footprint suits 3.5-5m room widths, and the staggered drop of the three pendants creates visual interest when viewed from multiple angles. The polished chrome finish reflects surrounding light during the day, while the crystal creates sparkle patterns on adjacent walls and ceilings when lit in the evening.

Each crystal element is cut with multiple facets that catch and split light, turning the bulb into a multi-point light source rather than a single glowing sphere. The stainless steel outer casing frames the crystal in a star-like diamond profile, with pointed ends that extend the visual length of each pendant by approximately 50mm beyond the crystal itself. The combined weight of 3.3kg requires a ceiling fixing capable of supporting the load, and the pendant is dimmable when paired with dimmable G9 LEDs and a compatible trailing-edge dimmer.

What bulbs does the Amano take?

Three G9 capsule bulbs, each up to 33W maximum. Bulbs are sold separately. Most users pair this with 3-5W G9 LED bulbs in warm white (2700-3000K) for living spaces, or 4000K for hallways and staircases where clarity is preferred over warmth.

Is the drop height adjustable?

Yes. The three pendants hang on adjustable cables that can be set anywhere between 230mm and 1730mm during installation. Once the cables are trimmed and fixed at the desired length, they cannot be easily re-adjusted without accessing the ceiling rose again.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Amano suits rooms with ceiling heights of 2.7m or above. In a 2.7m room the minimum 230mm drop leaves approximately 2.47m clearance beneath the lowest pendant. In double-height spaces the maximum 1730mm drop allows the cluster to hang lower into the volume without touching floor level.

Can it be dimmed?

Yes, when fitted with dimmable G9 LED bulbs and connected to a compatible trailing-edge dimmer. Check the bulb packaging to confirm dimmer compatibility before purchase, as not all G9 LEDs support dimming.
