The Altea Small is a 160mm rectangular wall light with a matt black exterior and gold-painted interior, housing an integrated 15W LED rated at 1200 lumens and 3000K warm white. The open-front rectangular form directs light forward and downward from the gold-painted inner surface, creating a wash effect on the wall below the fitting and a soft reflected glow from the gold interior.

Designed for hallways, corridors, living room accent positions and bedrooms where ambient rather than task light is needed, the Altea works as a single fitting above a console table or in multiples along a corridor wall at 1.8-2m intervals. The 100mm projection from the wall and 160mm width give a compact footprint suitable for narrower hallways without protruding into circulation space. The fitting is surface-mounted onto a standard back plate and wired directly to the mains.

The contrast between the matt black exterior and the gold-painted interior gives the fitting a dual character — understated when viewed from the side, warmer and more reflective when viewed from below or head-on. The 1200 lumen output at 3000K provides approximately the same light level as a 100W incandescent bulb, making it suitable for general ambient use rather than reading or task work. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and non-replaceable, with an expected service life of 25,000 hours.

Is the Altea dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and must be wired to a standard on-off switch only. Connecting to a dimmer circuit will cause flicker or failure.

What mounting height is recommended?

For corridor or hallway use, mount the Altea at 1.8-2m above floor level so the light washes the wall below without creating glare at eye level. For accent use above furniture, mount 200-400mm above the top of the console or sideboard.

Can the LED be replaced when it fails?

No. The LED is integrated into the fitting and non-replaceable. The expected service life is 25,000 hours — approximately 11 years at 6 hours per day. After this period the entire fitting would need replacement.

What finish is the interior?

The interior of the rectangular housing is painted gold, which reflects the LED light and adds warmth to the output. The exterior is matt black.
