The Altea Medium is a 220mm matt black LED wall light with an open-front rectangular profile and an integrated 21W 3000K LED delivering 1680 lumens. The light source sits inside a recessed channel that runs the full length of the fitting, casting warm white light upwards and downwards along the wall while leaving the open front unlit. This creates a wall-wash effect rather than direct room illumination.

Designed for corridors, hallways, stairwells and feature walls in living rooms or bedrooms, the Altea works as both functional wayfinding light and architectural accent. The 100mm projection keeps the fitting close to the wall, making it suitable for narrower corridors where a deeper projection would intrude. The matt black finish absorbs ambient light rather than reflecting it, so the fitting itself stays visually recessive while the wall-wash effect defines the architectural surface.

The rectangular open-front form allows multiple Altea fittings to be installed in a vertical or horizontal run, creating continuous lines of light along a corridor or stairwell without visible gaps between units. The aluminium body weighs 0.6kg and mounts directly to a wall via concealed rear fixings. The non-dimmable LED runs on standard 220-240V mains with no external driver needed.

Is the Altea dimmable?

No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 21W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. If dimming is required, a separate smart home system with compatible wall light modules would be needed.
