Description

The Altea Large is a 370mm linear LED wall light with an open-fronted white metal frame housing an integrated 30W LED strip that produces 2400 lumens at 3000K warm white. The light source sits recessed within the box section, casting illumination forwards along the wall surface and creating a soft wash of light rather than a direct beam.

Designed for hallways, living rooms, bathrooms (check IP rating compatibility) and corridors where wall-mounted ambient lighting is needed without overhead fittings, the Altea provides a long horizontal wash that highlights architectural features or breaks up plain wall sections. The 370mm width suits spaces where a single fitting can provide functional light without being oversized, while multiple Altea lights can be installed in a run to light a longer hallway or gallery wall. The compact 100mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting out of circulation space.

The white powder-coated metal finish integrates with white walls, light-toned interiors and contemporary schemes where visible fittings are kept minimal. The box-section profile gives the fitting a clean geometric presence rather than a decorative form. At 0.9kg the Altea mounts directly to plasterboard or masonry using concealed fixings (supplied) and connects to mains voltage via a junction box or standard wall wiring. The LED is non-dimmable and rated for 220-240V operation.

Is the Altea dimmable?

No. The integrated LED is non-dimmable and operates at full 2400lm output when switched on. If dimmable wall lighting is required, consider fittings with external LED drivers that support TRIAC or 0-10V dimming.

Can it be used in bathrooms?

The specification table does not list an IP rating for this model. For bathroom installation, confirm the IP rating with Mantra before fitting, as zones 1 and 2 require IP44 or higher and this fitting may only be suitable for zone 3 or outside bathroom zones entirely.
