Description

The Altea Extra Large is a 500mm horizontal LED wall light with an integrated 40W LED strip running the length of a white powder-coated metal housing. The open-front rectangular profile directs 3200 lumens of 3000K warm white light outward and along the wall surface, creating both direct ambient light and a subtle wash effect on adjacent surfaces.

Designed for hallways, feature walls, above-bed positions and long gallery walls, the Altea's 500mm width and 100mm height provide linear illumination that spans a wider area than compact wall lights. The 100mm projection from the wall keeps the fitting shallow enough for narrower corridors while the top and bottom edges diffuse light along the wall plane, reducing harsh shadows. The fitting mounts on a backplate fixed to standard wall junction boxes and requires mains 220-240V supply.

The white powder-coated finish gives a neutral backdrop that recedes visually in lighter-toned interiors, allowing the light itself to become the focus. At 1.1kg, the fitting has enough weight to feel substantial without requiring heavy-duty fixings on most wall types. No. The integrated LED runs at a fixed 40W output and is not compatible with dimmer switches. The fitting provides constant 3200 lumens when switched on.

What installation depth is required?

Can it be mounted vertically?
