Description
The Alpine is a white powder-coated aluminium outdoor wall light with an integrated 6W 3000K LED set inside an angled arm that projects 105mm from the wall. The arm sits at approximately 45 degrees to the mounting plate, directing 510lm of warm white light both upward across the wall surface and downward toward the ground in a 110-degree beam angle. The IP65 rating seals the LED module and internal wiring against dust ingress and water jets from any direction, making it suitable for exposed exterior walls.
Designed for porches, patios, pathways and building entrances, the Alpine provides functional illumination and architectural accent in a single compact fitting. At 165mm tall and 100mm wide, the light sits comfortably beside front doors, along garden walls, or flanking garage entries without dominating the wall plane. The angled arm creates a sculptural profile when viewed from the side, breaking up flat façades and adding visual interest to rendered or brick surfaces. The non-dimmable 6W LED runs on standard 220-240V mains and does not require a separate driver or control gear.
The white powder-coated finish is applied over cast aluminium, providing corrosion resistance in coastal and urban environments. The finish contrasts cleanly against darker brick, timber cladding or render, and pairs neutrally with white or light-grey painted walls. The 510lm output is sufficient to light a 2-3m section of pathway or highlight a doorway without causing glare, and the 3000K colour temperature sits in the warm white range that complements residential architecture better than cooler daylight tones. Mantra backs the fitting with a 3-year warranty.

Frequently Asked
What does IP65 mean for outdoor use?
IP65 means the fitting is dust-tight and protected against water jets from any direction. It can be installed on fully exposed exterior walls, including areas subject to driving rain, without requiring an overhang or canopy for protection.
Can the Alpine be mounted vertically or horizontally?
The design assumes vertical mounting with the angled arm projecting outward and slightly upward from the wall. Horizontal mounting would alter the light distribution pattern and is not recommended by the manufacturer.
Is the LED replaceable?
No. The 6W LED module is integrated into the fitting and not user-replaceable. The LED is rated for approximately 25,000-30,000 hours of operation, equivalent to 8-10 years at 8 hours per day. At end of life, the entire fitting would need replacement.
How is it wired?
The Alpine connects directly to 220-240V mains supply via a rear cable entry point in the mounting plate. Standard outdoor wiring practices apply — the circuit should be RCD-protected and the cable entry sealed with an appropriate gland or grommet during installation.
