Description

The Alisio Mini is a 525mm diameter ceiling fan light with retractable transparent blades, an integrated 100W dimmable LED and a DC motor. The blades extend when the fan is switched on and retract into the black metal housing when switched off, leaving only a low-profile disc mounted flush to the ceiling. The integrated LED produces 4900lm and is tuneable between warm 2700K and cool 5000K white light via the included remote control.

Designed for bedrooms, home offices, small living rooms and study spaces where ceiling height allows for a 165mm drop, the Alisio Mini provides both circulated air and overhead lighting in a single fitting. The DC motor runs more quietly than traditional AC fan motors and draws less power at equivalent airflow speeds. A heating mode reverses the airflow direction to push warm air down from ceiling level during colder months, reducing reliance on separate heating where mild climate control is needed.

The matt black finish on the housing and canopy pairs with industrial, mid-century and contemporary interiors. The transparent retractable blades reduce visual bulk when the fan is not in use, making the fitting less obtrusive than traditional exposed-blade ceiling fans. The remote control allows independent adjustment of fan speed (multiple settings), LED brightness (fully dimmable) and colour temperature (2700K to 5000K in steps), giving flexibility to match task lighting needs or evening ambient light. How is the fan controlled?

The Alisio Mini comes with a remote control that adjusts fan speed, LED brightness and colour temperature independently. The fan has multiple speed settings, the LED dims from full brightness to off, and the colour temperature shifts between warm 2700K and cool 5000K white light.

What ceiling height is needed?

The fitting has a 165mm drop from ceiling to the bottom of the housing. When the blades extend the total clearance increases, so a minimum ceiling height of 2.4m is recommended to maintain safe clearance above head height in typical room use.

How does the heating mode work?

The heating mode reverses the airflow direction so the fan pulls air upwards and pushes warm air that has risen to ceiling level back down into the room. This redistributes heat without generating it, making it useful in rooms with ceiling-mounted heating or where stratified warm air collects at ceiling level.

Can the blades be left extended all the time?

Yes. The retractable mechanism is optional — the blades extend when the fan is switched on and retract when switched off, but if you prefer the fan appearance you can leave it running on a low setting to keep the blades visible.
