How does the reversible fan function work?

The DC motor can rotate in either direction. In summer mode, the blades spin to push air downward, creating a cooling breeze. In winter mode, the direction reverses to draw air upward, which recirculates warm air that accumulates near the ceiling, helping distribute heat more evenly without creating a draft.

Do the blades retract automatically?

Yes. The transparent blades are housed inside the circular enclosure when the fan motor is off. When you activate the fan via the remote or app, centrifugal force extends the blades outward as the motor spins. When the fan stops, the blades retract back into the housing.

Can the colour temperature and brightness be controlled independently?

Yes. The LED array supports independent control of colour temperature (2700K to 5500K) and brightness (0-100% dimming). You can set warm light at low brightness for evening relaxation or cool daylight at high brightness for daytime tasks, all via the remote handset or smartphone app.

What ceiling height is needed?

The Alisio sits 160mm below the ceiling once mounted. For safe operation and comfort, a minimum room height of 2.4m is recommended, which leaves approximately 2.24m clearance below the fitting. Higher ceilings (2.6-3m) provide better airflow distribution across larger rooms.
