The Alfie floor lamp takes a mushroom shape, with a rounded dome shade set atop a slim upright and a cone-shaped base. Finished in matt black, it directs light downwards for a soft, indirect glow across the floor and nearby furniture. It runs on a single E27 bulb, which is not included; with a recommended E27 LED at 4.9W, 470lm and 3000K warm white, you get a gentle, cosy light.

Standing 130cm tall with a Ø 40cm shade, Alfie suits a living room corner or a spot beside the bed. Its minimalist form settles into modern rooms while working as a piece of decor in its own right, useful for ambient lighting rather than close-up reading.
